Scope
This policy describes the privacy practices of the public Essentia Ventures website only.
This policy does not cover an investor portal, data room, subscription process, portfolio-company website, Substack publication, social-media service, or another third-party service. Each separate service may have its own privacy terms.
Information processed
When a visitor requests a page, the hosting and security providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. This may include an IP address, request date and time, requested page, referrer, browser and device information, and security events.
If a visitor contacts Essentia Ventures by email or another approved channel, the recipient may process the information the visitor chooses to provide, such as a name, email address, organization, professional role, message, and any attachments.
- The website does not provide user accounts, payment processing, or a public submission form.
- Separate investor-relations systems and communications, if used, operate outside the public website and may be governed by separate notices.
How information may be used
Information may be used to deliver, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the website; respond to an inquiry; protect legal rights and prevent misuse; comply with applicable law; and maintain records that are reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Cookies, analytics, and tracking
The website source does not set cookies or use analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site behavioral advertising. Hosting and security providers may apply technical controls when needed to deliver and protect the website.
The website is not designed to collect a visitor's activity over time and across unrelated websites. It therefore does not change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. This policy and any required consent controls will be updated before tracking, sale, sharing, or targeted advertising is introduced.
Service providers and other disclosures
Information may be disclosed to hosting, security, communications, professional-adviser, and information-technology providers that perform services for the website operator; to government authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety; or in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of a business, subject to applicable law.
The website is not designed to sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was processed, including security, operational, legal, and recordkeeping needs.
Security
Information security involves administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information processed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
California disclosures and choices
California law may provide privacy rights depending on the information involved and the law's applicability. If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, eligible California residents may have rights to know, access, delete, and correct certain personal information; to opt out of sale or sharing; to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable rights.
Requests concerning applicable privacy rights may be made through an established Essentia Ventures communication channel. Additional information may be required to verify a request.
Children
The website is intended for a professional audience and is not directed to children under 13. Essentia Ventures does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through the website.

Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date and, where required, additional notice.
